RETAIL

Shopping Center has a wide classification and characteristics.  It ranges from Retail Strip (comprised of a few connected stores serving a very limited trade area), Neighborhood Center (anchored by a supermarket) to Super-Regional Mall (department stores serving up to 25 miles trade area size).  A multi-tenant retail center is owned by a single entity and sits on an individual parcel.  

Retail Condo is an individually owned unit that is part of a larger multi-unit building.  A condo is assigned its own parcel number, and the owner receives an undivided interest in the common areas of the project.
